Federation of Islamic Organisations in Europe: What happend in Nice is a terrible crime against humanity

Federation of Islamic Organisations in Europe (FIOE) has followed, with deep sorrow, the tragedy that took place in Nice, Thursday night (14 July 2016), and expressed solidarity with the French people in the face of that criminal act, causing large numbers of innocent victims from various religious and ethnic backgrounds.

The seriousness of such heinous mass killing crime, which targeted innocent people on a symbolic day for the French nation, reaffirms the importance of solidarity and community cohesion to prevail over the despicable threats, targeting the morale of the entire spectrum of French people, and attempting to spread panic and disunity among its integral component.

Federation of Islamic Organisations in Europe stands united with Nice as well as the French people in this painful tragedy, expresses heartfelt condolences to the families of innocent victims, and wishes a speedy recovery for the injured.
